Higher voices sit in the frequencies that go first. It is not that she mumbles. It is that her voice lives exactly where the loss is.
A voice can be loud enough and still make no sense
Consonants — the s, the f, the th — carry the meaning and sit up in the high notes. Lose those and the voice still arrives. The meaning does not.
Turning the telly up does not fix the mumbling

Already have an audiologist's report?
Upload it. If you have had a hearing test, you already own the measurements a clinic would charge you to act on. Upload that report and it tunes to your measured loss — the frequencies your ears are struggling with, rather than a generic preset.

Answered plainly
Will this work for my hearing?
It is built for mild to moderate hearing loss — the kind where speech sounds mumbled rather than quiet. The fitting ranges are S, M and P, with average gain of 35, 45 and 55 dB. If your loss is severe or profound, or only in one ear, see an audiologist rather than buying these.
If you are not sure, order a pair and use the 90 days. That is what the trial is for.
How can A$1,618 match a A$5,000 fitting?
Most of a clinic price is the clinic — the appointment, the room, the fitting, the follow-ups. We sell direct and hand the tuning to you in the app, so you are paying for the hardware rather than the building.
We are not claiming to replace an audiologist. If you want clinical care, get it. What we are saying is that a large part of the price gap is service delivery, not silicon.
What if I have never had a hearing test?
You do not need one to use them. The app walks you through setting each ear by ear. If you have had a test, uploading the report gets you closer, faster.
Is it TGA approved?
No, and we will not imply otherwise. The hardware carries FCC, CE, UKCA and RoHS conformity marks — those are the independent marks it holds.
We do not claim a TGA approval or an entry on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods. The Therapeutic Goods Administration is Australia's authority for therapeutic goods and the register is public, so you can check the status of any product yourself.
How long does the battery really last?
About 14 hours on a charge, and about 84 hours in total with the case — so roughly a full waking day per charge, and most of a week before the case needs the cable.
Can people see them?
They sit behind the ear with a thin wire into the canal, in beige — a low-sheen tone chosen to sit against skin and hair rather than catch the light. They are visible if somebody looks. They are not obvious across a room.
What happens when they block with wax?
You change the wax guard yourself — old one out, new one in, under a minute. Eight are in the box and one lasts about six months. When you run out, email us and we post more. No appointment.
Do you ship to New Zealand?
We can, but read this first. Australia Post quotes 3–6 business days. The catch is not the freight, it is the border: a pair is worth more than NZ$1,000, so New Zealand Customs charges 15% GST plus an import entry fee — in the order of NZ$300 all up — and that is billed to you on arrival, not to us. You will also need a Customs Number.
We would rather you knew that now than found out when the parcel landed. Email us before you order and we will walk you through it.
What if I do not get on with them?
Send them back inside 90 days — counted from the day they arrive, not the day you order. You get the full A$1,618 back and we pay the return postage. Give them a fair go first: ears genuinely take a couple of weeks to adjust to hearing detail again.

Always follow the directions for use. This product is for the improvement of hearing in adults with mild to moderate hearing loss.
Hearing loss can have causes that need medical attention. Sudden loss, loss in one ear only, pain, discharge or ringing that is new should be seen by a doctor or an audiologist before you buy any hearing device.
This device is not a substitute for a hearing assessment. We do not claim a TGA approval or an entry on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.
